#98QBKiller
I'm pretty sure they'll be rotating him through the lineup @ LDE, and all over the line as a pass rusher, plus a little LB, but I don't think he's going to take MW's place, it's just not his strong suit. Misterwookas
He played some outside LB last year. He is too slow to play middle. We are not going to know anything until FA starts on Friday. Something is going to happen here in the next couple of weeks. With Marcus cut that frees up $4mil. The word is there are going to be some others gone to. Albert Haynesworth is not going to be a Redskin. There is more and more specualtion that the FA is going to be an OL. Jon Runyan and Tra Thomas would be excellent fits. This would mean that at 13 we can go after Brian Orakpo or Rey Malaluga. I am more on Malaluga for his intensity but Orakpo I think has more skills. Who the hell knows? ThePreciating
Carter Haynesworth Griffin Daniels at line. McIntosh and Taylor outside. Fletcher inside. As long as Taylor is on Daniels' side of the line, the liability in run protection is addressed. If you ask me, that's a scary, scary, scary front 7. Maybe I'm a Kool-Aid drinker though. warriorz
Blache will have some kind of crazy hybrid of a defense out there. Maybe... Like the 3 safeties package. Cobra or something.
mcarey032
I actually like that idea and was thinking about that as well. IF they could get Canty, they could move him to the LB position and switch Canty. It could really make for a great match up problem on the left side, IMO. HitStickTaylor21
If Haynesworth really is coming here and they plan on him commanding double teams, maybe they'll keep Taylor at end since he could go one-on-one. Who knows though, I'm still upset of the whole deal, I don't even want to speculate anymore.
TheLongshot
I was talking about this with a friend of mine last night, and the main concern with something like this would be, how well would Taylor do in coverage? I guess we will find out what the plans are for him soon enough, tho I doubt that he will be put in as the starter at an OLB position. I suspect that they will try to move him around the field.
