Thinking Skins
I quietly sit, pen and pad in hand slouched back on the comfy couch. There's a convo going on behind me, but I barely hear a word. Time passes by and I head home. but the reason for my silence was unknown. My boys sat around exchanging ideas, each one wondering if the blame was his. The next day after class, my boy gets in the car and turns town the jazz. I'm like, "you can't be that stupid, so you must have a question to ask." He spoke of the convo with him and the fellas, and asked me to tell him whats wrong. The car slows down and I start to frown, wonderin whats goin down. This dude askin about stress and about beef, like we takin it to the streets. Nah, he tells me we just worried. "If something's going on, you can tell me" I insist that I'm fine, and finally he buys it, one step short of callin me a lie. But next time that we go out, and I'm not into what they talkin 'bout, I sit back listening, looking at the fine women coming in. - Until my boys start wondering why I'm not offerin up my opinion. Now a new conversation starts and I'm the center of attention. I'm tempted to respond, but really I don't feel like getting in it. So my boy comes to my defense and says "he's just in one of his moods" I'll just accept this as true, cause I don't feel like having to or or even more, come to grips with my crew just being a bunch of lame ass dudes. Vicious
It's called "The Fragile" album by Nine Inch Nails, you'd like it. Then again, who doesn't?
