HapHaszard
Several months ago, it dawned on me that on December 19, I would be officially declared OLD by the US Government and issued a Medicare card. That thought led me to thinking about things I had planned on doing but hadn't yet done. Number one on my list was that I had never attended a game at Fedex field, nor an Extremeskins tailgate. Checking the schedule I found that the nearest home game to my birthday was the Redskins Eagles game on December 21st. I started by asking around to several people that might have a chance to get me a pair of tickets for the game. After a while without finding anything I decided to look in the Classified section of Extremeskins, where I found a pair of Club level seats being offered. Several E-mails back and forth I decided that these were the tickets I wanted, and purchased them along with a parking pass. During the several e-mails I discovered that I had been corresponding with an angel in disguise. The angel let me know that since I was traveling so far, I would be meeting some of the team at a dinner the day after the game. Needless to say I was somewhat excited. Game day arrived and I attended the Extremeskins tailgate, where I finally got to meet Blondie, and Chief Zee. I also talked to several friends that I hadn't seen for a couple of years. MrsHap and I then went in and found our seats in Section 305, and to make our evening great the Redskins beat the Eagles. The next night we got directions to the Redskins dinner and went to Mortons in Bethesda for the dinner. While there I got to meet Colt, Hall, and Heyer. A totally great experience. We ended up the trip by going to Redskins park for the send off.
