NoVaSkins21 Posted December 15, 2008 Share Posted December 15, 2008 I was looking up the GM of the Panthers and was surprised to learn that the guy was hired by Jack Kent Cooke and then went on to work with Bobby Beathard. He also has local ties to the area. I am not meaning to start this thread as one of those "Grass is Greener.." threads, but this guy was hired by the Panthers after the 2001 season. The same season after which Snyder fired Marty and went after Spurrier. It just goes to show that if he had not gone back to his lacky Vinny and maybe interviewed some serious candidates for the GM position, we could be in a different situation today.
