footballhenry
I just saw The Boy in the Striped Pajamas earlier today. I had read a little bit about it, and heard from word of mouth how powerful and sad it is. I have to say that this film is one that sticks with you long after you witness it on the big screen. This film revolves around two young boys at opposing ends of the struggle in WWII, one jewish and the other german. For me personally, I found the innocent perspective of this young German boy quite heart breaking and fascinating all at once. We witness his innocence (he thinks the uniforms the jews wear are 'pajamas') gradually eroded as the film progresses, yet never completely diminished as anyone who sees this will attest. Be forewarned, that this movie will leave you drained emotionally as it truly does pull on the deepest of human emotions. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to watch a powerful film in cinemas right now; of all the movies out right now, I honestly believe this to be the best by far. :2cents: 9/
Califan007 The Constipated
I was hoping this movie wouldn't end up being trite because the title kind of conveyed that it might...good to hear that it's worth the money and time.
