Eparadox
...why trading our 3-7 draft picks is a GOOD thing
Even Madder
Ill be the first to admit that the skins front office is terrible at drafting, esp in the 3-7th rounds. Even the 2nd really. But if dockery turns into a player, this could be a monster steal for the skins. Thats a big IF.
Tom [Giants fan]
This year is a big crap shoot for rounds 2-7. There is a lot of even talent for 2-3 and maybe 4. After that, it is anyone's guess so the route the Redskins took indeed may be very smart for this years draft. I will give credit when it is due. What the Redskins did would not have worked for the Giants because the Giants needs are on the defensive and offensive line for backups. The Giants need depth with this draft but the Skins were able to get starters while giving up draft picks which isn't a bad idea at all.
bulldog
the Redskins second round picks, when they have had them, have not been bad ones in recent years..............................
Skins26
I would have liked to see us pick up Julian Battle with that pick in the 2nd. But if one of your new guards goes down it'll be nice to be able to throw Dockery in there if he doesnt quit or anything.
inmate running the asylum
I think the Jacobs pick in the 2nd was a steal. Dockery will be a boom or bust pick. Julian Battle I'm not sure about. All I know was in the Maryland-Tennessee Peach Bowl game he disappeared and made stupid penalities.
Brave
Hopefully we'll never know if Dockery is a boom or a bust because with good fortune we'll stay healthy enough to keep him on the bench.
RTerps2002
I definatly think their we two players in Bradie James and Terrance Holt could have come right in and contributed on special teams. James could be groomed to replace Arrmstead
shawn
actually with Fiorre's and Johnson's Injury history, the skins did need back up at gaurd. Dockery can play either gaurd and if forced to play tackle. He is a little raw, but I think that was actually a good pick. Not a sexy pick but a good pick.
