And so we rolled up our sleeves and confirmed it. Bramlet is joining the Ravens. The Chargers released Bramlet on Tuesday. He was in Miami for part of 2007 with Ravens offensive coordinator Cam Cameron, who was the coach of the Fins for the team’s disastrous 1-15 season. It’s unclear whether the Ravens would be acquiring Bramlet, a non-vested veteran, by making a waiver claim, or by signing him as a free agent after he cleared waivers. The addition of Bramlet would be a fairly strong signal that Kyle Boller is headed to injured reserve due to a shoulder injury suffered in the second preseason game, against the Vikings.
