Jax on the other hand is having a sweet offseason with the additions of Douglass and Mike Peterson. Their line is going to be formidable with Douglass playing next to those 2 great young tackles, Marcus Stroud and John Henderson. With most of their FA money going defense, I'd say it's a forgone conclussion that they are going WR in round one. The only other real possibility that I can see is CB. bulldog Posted March 15, 2003 Share Posted March 15, 2003 the merits of this deal all come down to how long Douglas stays healthy. if he is another Reggie White that stays productive into his mid 30's then the Jaguars made a good signing. if Douglas is like most 32 year old DEs than the Jags are getting him just as his productivity is starting to slip and they will end up taking a cap hit after the 2004 season. Dallas and we will be in the mix very soon to complicate matters for them even more and don't forget the giants aren't too far away themselves. Reid/Banner/Lurie blew it.
