WVUforREDSKINS
Anyone read this book? For the first time since I was probably around 10, I decided to try reading for pleasure again. I got the book Wicked (the story of the wicked witch of the west). I'm about 60 pages into it and I don't know what I think of it so far. Is this book any good? I think more women read this than men. Maybe this belongs in the gayest thing I can admit to thread. I also find it kind of difficult to read. Anyway, what are your opinions, for those who saw the play or read the book? Capt. Kaos
I'll Bite.... Read the book (on a recommendation) and saw the broadway musical. I would have to say that both are fantastic! Takes a well known story and puts a very unique twist on it. If you decide to keep reading I hope you like it!

I heard great things about it, but they were from my mom's friends so I don't really know how to judge that.

Dictator
I read it in College for a folklore class. I thought it was slow at first, but it does pick up.
flashback
I enjoyed enough to read the sequel, "Son of a Witch" and "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister". I seem to remember a lot of it was hard to follow, but I also remember thinking it was really, really well-written.

WVUforREDSKINS
OK im at the part where she just got to Kiamo Ko. Couple questions I have. 1. What exactly is the philosophy club and what happend to Tibbert. It seems he tripped out on something and went crazy. Is the philosophy club where people do hallucinogens? I didn't really get that part. 2. Do they ever explain why water hurts/burns Elphaba? 3. Is Nessarose Turtle Heart's daughter? (always been wondering this)
