Drakkhim
If you can just use plain ol' Norton AV without all of the additional security BS, you should be fine. Also straying away from Internet Explorer is a plus as it is just too powerful and allows too many things to get installed such as add-ons like ActiveX. If you *know* what you're installing and know how to properly and securely configure your browser, then IE is OK. Otherwise, use Firefox as it doesn't all those bad add-ons to get installed. Drakkhim
Spybot is up to 1.5.2 right now and it's still free. Use Spybot in conjunction with Ad-Aware to keep the spyware/adware baddies off of your PC.
