Larry Brown #43
Yeah, if you can get to Manhattan go to Red Sky. The place is great...Redskins heaven. In fact, it's probably a better atmosphere to watch a Skins game than any bar in the DC area. I had a blast watching the Skins/Giants game there two weeks ago. abu69
I'll also put in a good word for Red Sky. Aside from the surly, neutral bartenders, the atmosphere doesn't get any better. Which is to say, it doesn't get any pro-Redskins rowdier. on 29th street, off the 6 train
Passizle
There is Irish times in Holbrook, or Instant Replay in Huntington. I frequesnt both. They are pretty good bars. Instant Replay has HOT bartenders and a good Skins crowd usually.

touchdowntailgate
Well I will be in NYC on the 30th for a concert so Red Sky sounds like where I will be watching the game. Thanks for the info and HTTR!:dallasuck I will be there in either a Monk jersey or my skins red golf shirt, if anyone wants to say hello. Larry Brown #43
Here's me at Red Sky (I'm wearing the Taylor jersey with my back to the camera) after Portis' TD vs. the Giants. Probably a smaller crowd than usual since the game was in NY, but an awesome crowd nonetheless. They even had Redskins banners on the walls. Hooterman
I may have my two kids with me (ages 11 and 10). Is Red Sky reasonably kid friendly during a skins game?
Larry Brown #43
I may have my two kids with me (ages 11 and 10). Is Red Sky reasonably kid friendly during a skins game? Hmmm...that's a tough call. There weren't any kids there when I was there, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. It's a bar/lounge, so it may not be the best bet for kids. There is a seating area, but if you're watching the game you'll want to be in the bar area, where there is precious little seating available. So you'd probably be standing among a lot of adults with adult beverages in their hands. It might not be a bad idea to call the bar to see what they have to say about this.
