Miami grew a mighty dragon A great warrior born in the shade of a palm tree, limitless talent flowed through his viens So many smiles of admiration A leader shown brightly for all to see, the joy of so many rode his breath of flames Miami slew our mighty dragon His wings have been clipped by a cowardly knight, who knows not the golden soul he has slain So many hearts filled with abjection For his joy has been stolen from so many tonight, for that we have only the knight to blame Our Dragon lives on in the hearts of us all, his memory we carry will be here forever.
