dposton
The last play that Jason threw an interception on was the play that ruined Patrick Ramsey. Patrick threw that same pass against the Eagles and Cowboys when we had an opportunity to win both games. Both times the pass was intercepted by Brian Dawkins and Roy Williams, respectively. I am not blaming Jason. The play obviously does not work. Trash it. When you give a young quarterback a play that he practices all week, of course he is going to call it thinking that it would be the coaches preference. This play, whatever it is called, needs to be canned before it destroys Jason just as it destroyed Patrick Ramsey. It only took one time to run Rocket Screen, albeit in the Super Bowl, and Joe Gibbs never ran it again. The coaches, as well as the players, need to study history and film. This play has been a disaster for us on numerous occasions now. I, for one, am tired of seeing it even as an option for our quarterbacks. There has to be some other red zone plays that can be run that are more effective. Does anyone else remember this play against the Eagles and Cowboys? hail2skins
I remember a game in '04 against the Eagles when Ramsey tried to throw into the back corner of the end zone to Cooley from about 25-20 yards out and he got picked. Can't recall the Dallas incident.
