@DCGoldPants
Washington Wizards General Manager Wes Unseld announced today that they have activated guard Juan Dixon and have placed forward Brian Cardinal on the Injured List with left knee tendinitis. Dixon was placed on the Injured List December 2, 2002 with a sprained left elbow, and has missed 19 games. He averaged 6.1 points and 1.4 rebounds before getting injured. He posted a career-high 18 points vs. Philadelphia on November 30. Cardinal was placed on the Injured List earlier this season with a strained right quad and missed 16 games. He is averaging 0.8 points and 1.0 rebounds per game. I'm guessing he'll get eased back into it so...little to no playing time. However, if we put a whooping on Golden State....Juan should see some time just to get back into the flow.
Zen-like Todd
Sweet. One can never have enough scorers on the team. Now, if we lose one of Jordan/Stack/Hughes, we won't have such a freakout. While losing Stack or MJ certainly makes us much smaller, having perimeter threats are a must on this team, given the inexperience of the front court. pga
Go Juan. Went to my first Terp's home game Wednesday night @ "The Shell"! What a great arena for a team. All the students next to the court is a great idea. Just like Duke. Hopefully Juan can help get the Wiz a round OR TWO in the playoffs with MJ. Gamebreaker
It's good to see Juan will be back. It was unfortunate he got injured when he was just starting to get significant playing time and impressing Collins/MJ. Hopefully he can get back into the flow quickly and get more game experience out there.
