GURU Posted September 5, 2007 Share Posted September 5, 2007 This kind of analysis is ALL WRONG. WR vs WR, or RB vs. RB is NOT a matchup. Comparing units this way is pointless. An average running game against a weak defense is favorable over a strong running game against a strong defense. What you have to do is analyze true MATCHUPS. WRs vs. secondary. OL vs. DL. Linebackers vs. running game, or Linebackers vs. passing game. A QB's strengths/limitations vs. defensive strengths/limitations. Etc...
