fuji869
It must be really bad for the Cincinnati Bengals. Their draft pick of Akili Smith in 99 is a bust, they are coming off of a 2-14 season. But to top it off they have the longest current drought of missing the NFL Postseason. Just think since the Bengals have made the playoffs last in 1990 their in state rivals from Ohio, the Cleveland Browns, have made the playoffs twice in 1994 and again in 2002. What is significant about this is the 94 was the original Cleveland Browns and this year is the new Cleveland Browns. That much really add insult to injury for the Bungles! Brave
Bad times are so common in Cincy (at least where football is concerned) that they no longer seem like bad times ... just times. It must be embarrassing to some teams out there that the Bengals have been to two Super Bowls, losing close games in each. There are a lot of playoff teams right now that can't say that (TB, Philly, Cleveland, Atlanta, Tennessee).

bulldog
well, since 1994 the Redskins have only won ONE playoff game so we should perhaps tread lightly on these kinds of stats
