artmonkforHOF Posted June 19, 2007 Share Posted June 19, 2007 I just bought my first house which came with a satelite dish, and after discovering the sat company would come and hook me up with no installtion fee, my TV option was a no brainer. I now have the preview of all 400 channels they offer but in 2 months, it will get cut down to the packages I have/will pick. One of those packages has the NFL network,(not sunday ticket, just the NFL-N) and was wondering, what do they show on the NFL network during the season? I know they will carry like 5-10 games or something this year but what else? Can I get replays of Sundays game later in the week?If so are teh games full 3 hour broadcasts or highlight packages? How is the Skins coverage on the Network, cause really who cares about the other teams. The programming I see now on NFL network is pretty weak and repeats a lot, but then again it is the offseason. I'm a huge fan of the NFL Network during the season. This time of year they do nothing but piss me off showing retarded cheerleader auditions. They have access to thousands of some of the best all time games ever played. All we get is the same old tired Pats-Colts AFC Championship game or some other retarded crap. They also have a great fantasy stats on gameday. They pretty much just have a screen up with RB numbers, QB numbers, WR, etc...so you can flip there and see your stats if you can't watch your game. And on top of that, they would play EVERY SINGLE PLAY. Instead of cutting out plays, they cut out the huddles and time in between plays. It was awesome. The NFL replay pisses me off becuase I HATE missing all the running plays and short passes and good, solid tackles in the run game that they always think are unimportant. Just one more thing, does anyone know when the NFL network will do the redskins mini camp thing? there site only has teams listed that they will be featuring in June.
