Mania
Yesterday I found out that my dog, Kookie, has bladder stones. Kookie will have surgery next week to remove them, but will then go on a special diet. The diet is called S.O. and she will never be able to have treats again. Has anyone ever had a pet that had bladder stones, if so, what do you suggest. The worst part about it is Kookie never goes to the bathroom in the house because she can hold it for a dozen hours if necessary. However this new food will make her thirstier and will need to drink water and most likely not be able to control her bladder as good as she has in the best. We are going to get an electrical doggie door so she can go to the bathroom if no one is here, do you have any suggestions on doggie doors and care of a dog with bladder surgery. Teller
My cousin had kidney stones, but we didn't want to go through all that hassle, so we just had him put to sleep.

Teller
What happened when he woke up? "Put to sleep" = kind hearted, PC term for "had him euthanized."

Teller
A very intelligent breed. My border "lucky" is the only one I know who took Golden State. Cool. I have a border named "Lexi" who's smarter than a handful of people I know. Combined.
