CallMeGreen
Hersell Wallker Trade: the Cowboys traded his rights to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a total of five players (LB Jesse Solomon, DB Issiac Holt, RB Darrin Nelson, LB David Howard, DE Alex Stewart) and six draft picks (which led to Emmitt Smith, Russell Maryland, Kevin Smith, and Darren Woodson).http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herschel_Walker_Trade Even if it wasn't a draft day trade... Oh, the humanity... ...but Shefter just took more shots at the Redskins as usual. What's with this guy? He comes from covering the Broncos (so he should love the Skins since we're Shanahan's girlfriend). Plus this guy gets all these trades spoonfed to him because he works for the NFL. Talk about shooting fish in a barrel. There's no way this guy is such a super reporter that he gets all these breaking stories by himself. I think his desk must be next to the fax machine in NFL HQ where the transactions come through on. How else would 2 out of every 3 transactions be credited to him?
