Does anyone remember how good the vaunted Bears defense was after Tommy Harris got hurt? My recollection was.......not very good. What position did Harris play???? Oh yeah, that's right.....Defensive Tackle.

It ain't gonna matter how good our linebackers are if we don't do more to stop the run up front. Getting a big boy in the middle that can do that as well as provide pressure from the front would go a long way in curing many of the ills of this defense.

Heres the thing, don't you think Chicago knows something? Maybe briggs is not the player the media has made him out to be? You want a nother arch in the house and gone next year? Yeah trading that top tier pick really helps.

Bottom line I would not do this trade with out both 1st and 2nd rd picks or 1st, 3rd and 4th.
