ntotoro
When did SRV do Unplugged? :whoknows:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:MTV_Unplugged_albums http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevie_Ray_Vaughan It was a "pilot" of sorts with Joe Satriani that was never actually aired much, unfortunately. I have a VCR tape of it from MTV back in '90 when I used to work at a record store and they sent it as a promotional tool. Jules Shear hosted it. SRV positively made Satriani sound like an amateur. Dude manhandled a 12-string for the whole show while Satriani sounded like fumble-fingers on a regular 6-string. He played Testify, Pride and Joy, Rude Mood and teased a little of Life Without You (not necessarily in that order). Edit: Here is his tease of Life Without You. I can't seem to find the other clips, but the audio version of his performance is on the SRV box set.
