Like Bram or Larry said today, Duckett has never lived up to his potential (remind anyone of a certain LB we recently let go?). Heck, with the way Sellers ran the ball the other night who needs Duckett? It's the same thing: a big RB for short yardage. On the other hand, 1.) Coach likes Patten, 2.) I like him as a 4th WR. I mean, he gives us such depth--and talent--at WR that it's sick. Throw in Cooley and who can stop us? There aren't enough good defenders to stop that kind of attack. I say stick with Betts and Sellers for the first two games, at least. Give Ladell a chance to prove himself. If we can't move the ball then make a move with Patten if you need to.
