Mark and Shirley Wilson shrugged off criticism of the move. Shirley, 44, of Lincoln, said: “It has always been my ambition to have lots of children. There’s nothing else I have ever wanted. I just love them.” She and electrician Mark, 45, had their last child, Ellis, in October 2004 and began trying for another within months.
