Redskinz4Life89
Hey, guys. I was wondering if anyone could help me. I bet my teacher that Santana Moss had more yardage off of screens than Steve Smith did. Can someone find the statistics to that and supply me with the proof? Thanks a lot. Joe Gibbs II
Im not sure, but you could find out if you checked that statlist that gibbs has of "Explosive plays" or something like that that he talks about sometimes.
jwebst1
That's going to be hard to figure out.... I don't think they have a specific stat for that. But anyway, I think it would be Moss as well, especially when you factor in the 80-yarder in KC.
Art
Smith had 19 receptions on passes thrown behind the line of scrimmage, which would qualify as screens. On those 19 receptions he had 201 yards and two touchdowns, with a long reception of 65 yards. Santana Moss had 17 grabs on passes thrown behind the line of scrimmage, which would qualify as screens. On those 17 receptions, he had 240 yards and two touchdowns, with a long reception of 78 yards. These stats are readily available on the player card page of both players at ESPN, under the splits section.
