spanishomelette
NFL INSIDER http://www.cleveland.com/sports/plaindealer/index.ssf?/base/sports/1142156067145160.xml&coll=2 Fazio says Browns, Arrington good fit Sunday, March 12, 2006 Tony Grossi Plain Dealer Reporter Foge Fazio has coached LaVar Arrington in Washington and he has coached defense for the Browns. He thinks the marriage in free agency of Arrington and football-mad Cleveland would be a blessed event. "If you want to solidify [the Browns' defense], here's a guy that's going to bring a lot of excitement," Fazio said. "And he's good with the fans. He's got all the intangibles." Arrington, 27, became a free agent when he agreed to forfeit $4.4 million of deferred bonuses owed him by the Washington Redskins last week. The 6-3, 255-pound linebacker -- snubbed by the Browns in 2000 when they chose Penn State teammate Courtney Brown with the No. 1 pick -- is definitely on the team's radar screen. "Big, fast, high-energy, strong, motivated, fun to watch," a high-ranking Browns official said of Arrington. .....
Eagle091
arrington is an enigma. he's what you would call a sexy choice... big name, possible downside. very risky.
elkabong82
I think it was good for both sides when Arrington left the Skins. I wish he wouldn't go to an NFC East team, but I also don't want him as a Brown. Cleveland houses more busts than a museum. The LA haters would probably love it though. tizzod
I have to admit, while he doesn't really scare me, I would be happier with him out of the division.
