FS36
I think that we have nothing to lose now with Campbell starting. Neither QB has chemistry with these receivers and Brunell wont be around much longer. Might as well start Campbell and get the chemistry rolling for years to come. Not to mention that Campbell is a 1st round pick that we gave up tons to get. Nothing to lose????? Winning a playoff game not ring a bell? It would be just plain stupid to start the season with Campbell. These pick ups at wide receiver were to put us over the edge NOW. We had a solid D and a one dimensional offense and we won a playoff game. I think Gibbs and Co are thinking that will a more explosive passing game this year, plus the same CP, and same D, we will take it to the big dance. Adding an experiment to the equation doesn't make sense. I'm all for Campbell taking the reigns and seeing what he can do, and I'm excited about his potential. But next season is simply not the right time, and not going to happen. Brunell will get one more year to see how far he can take us with the right weapons. After that, Campbell's era begins. redmo002
Being able to spread the ball around with the offense we have now is gonna be big. Nice stats especially when a couple of those names are going in this years draft.
