Mickalino
My apologies to those were angered by my recent prank. Contrary to what you might think, this was actually an aberration or a deviation from my normal behavior, rather than a habit. This is because I made a totally voluntary pledge last August not to repeat such activity. And I actually held true to that promise 100% until today. Let's just say the devil in me, or the jokester in me, got carried away a bit for once. I say "jokester", even tho many did not think it very funny. To be quite honest, I don't feel that such pranks are necessary in order to enjoy the board. On the other hand, I felt that no harm would be done by doing it once in a blue moon, which had been the case with me lately. As for the future....whatever the majority here decides on, I will abide by. Same goes if the admins supercede the poll, and make their own decision, I will abide by that too. However, even if pranks are still 'approved and allowed' officially, that doesn't mean that I'm going to go on a 'pranking rampage'. Its still a very small portion of my personality and will stay that way - meaning I will do little or none of that in the future

Mickalino
BCS, I think if we took a poll, we would find that HUGE OBNOXIOUS signature pics are much more bothersome than pranks are

There now....dare we take a poll on that issue ? TennesseeCarl
Hey Mick...

For whatever it's worth, I just don't think the prank stuff is that big a deal. As long as they don't veer off into offensive areas (i.e. annoucements of terrorist attacks that are bogus), I'm o.k. with it. It's just a game...perhaps a game elevated to the status of a religion, but a game nonetheless.
RF4L
Mick,

Personally, I feel that an equitable settlement for the obvious pain and suffering caused by your pranksterism, would be for you to send each of us $10.00.

This would cover, except in the most extreme cases, the cost of a six-pack, which would certainly help to alleviate the mental anguish that has resulted from your said pranks.

All in favor, say aye.

riggins44
Mick, there is nothing wrong with a good prank.
Sometimes, if well timed, can be good so we don't
take ourselves too serious. I applaud what you
and Buddha did. I got a good laugh...even at
my own expense.
