Portis the Tortoise
I need help with a bet with my friends. I thought that DJax pass (if in fact he had one foot in and kicked the pylon with another foot) was a touchdown. Can anyone back me up??

santarpia
I just posted a thread just before your or after. His left foot was down and his right foot grazed the pylon. TD!! WHY NO REPLY FROM THE BOOTH. Terrible Call!

WHY NO REPLY FROM THE BOOTH. Terrible Call! Because it was not his left foot that knocked down the pylon, it was his right foot that needed to be in bounds and it never was, no TD. Portis the Tortoise
You are wrong. One foot hit the ground and the OTHER foot hit the pylon. Albit very slightly.

But he was not in bounds, the pylon does not serve as an extension of the field it is simply a marker that shows if someone was in bounds. The problem is that the receiver never made the completion, he never had both feet in the green. If he did and then hit the pylon then yes, TD, but he never got in the green with both feet, ergo incomplete pass.
