Inxsive Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Does anyone else think in its current form that the minority interviewing requirement is a joke? Does anyone think that any of the current minority coaches went on their interview just to fulfill the requirement and on the interview the owner and/or GM said "wow, I wasn't really considering this guy but he is really good, lets hire him" I think they got the interview and were hired because they were good candidates. Anyone else think it would be ridiculous that if Gibbs retired, Dan would have to bring in a minority candidate before he promoted Williams or Saunders? I'm not a minority, so I can't speak from experience, but I would think any highly qualified coach brought into that type of situation would be insulted.
