MattGeorge85
Why do we have to wait that long! The Skins are going to be real tough to beat by any of the opponents next year. Things have not looked better in a long time! :logo:

Love_Them_Dirtbags
Anyone can go 8-0 at home if their stadium is deafeningly loud. Just look at Seattle. When FedEx is as loud as it was during our games against Dallas and NY this year, no opponent can hope to win. Someone asked whether FedEx or Qwest Field was louder, and I don't think it matters. As soon as the crowd noise goes above around 110 decibels, the players on the field can't hear a thing. Almost any stadium can produce that much noise as long as the fans are rabid enough. Good acoustics help (RFK was one of the smallest NFL stadiums during its day, but the overhanging roof trapped noise, a la Qwest Field) but it's really all up to the fans. If we start off strong next year, and get out to a winning record, I can envision FedEx being a nightmare of a stadium for visiting teams, throughout the whole year. It was rocking early this season, and late, but when we started losing games during that middle stretch, the crowd noise really tapered off... OVCChairman
Fedex already is a nightmare to come to. This year that place was NUTS. I think that this year you are going to see a lot more skins fans around and a lot less opposing fans
