UTEP looks funny in the middle of the Bruins' streak eh? They're the team Glory Road is based on (formerly Texas Western).

San Francisco had Bill Russell, the second-most dominant player ever, after Wilt. Villanova played the perfect game versus Ewing's Hoyas. UNLV was loaded (Larry Johnson, Anderson Hunt, Greg Anthony, Stacey Augmon).

Hmm, can't really speak to the others. I know La Salle was famous for being among the first schools to integrate black players, and they won theirs in that era.
