Let us all take time to reflect on the trials we have faced and had to endure to get to this point where every oppurtunity is given and we have the best chance in 13 years to win the biggest prize in football. We've faced alot of pain and heartbreak since Joe Gibbs left us back in 1992 after losing to the 49ers in the playoffs. And we've went through ALOT of coaches and players and even a couple owners. And now it's all about to change. The glory days have returned with our humble leader.

To Joe Gibbs who showed class, heart, love and loyalty to the Redskins through all times and us fans, and never lost the faith. Who couldn't bear to see what he had built once upon a time slip away into the obiss and refused to take a job with the Falcons just so he could return to save the Redskins from farther tragedy. Who never lost his faith or his values and always kept his priority. For being our leader, our hero, and an inspiration and role model to any one who knows of him. For returning despite his comfortable life prior, we will forever owe him a debt of grattitude.

To Joe Buegel for joining Joe Gibbs and providing his friendship to Coach and guidance for a young offensive line. And for making them stronger, smarter, more physical to punch other teams in the mouth, and better than than they thought they were.

To John Jansen who played through 2 broken thumbs and played extremely well.

To Randy Thomas who lead the way for clinton portis and should have went to the pro-bowl but gave up his body like a true brave on a warpath so that his team could make the playoffs.

To Mike Sellars who also leading the way for Portis and providing us with 12 TDs when teams were keying on all other options. For sparking the special teams with fire and excitment and for being the unsung hero in special teams AND offense.

To Chris Cooley who became our number 2 recieving threat when Moss was double covered and number 1 TD threat on the goal line. For being an all out gamer and freindly to us fans.

To Santanna Moss who was the object of miricles, a gift from heaven, and the spark of our season. For never dropping a ball, and being the most dangourous weapon and for forcing defenses to respect the pass so Portis can run.

To Clinton Portis who became a leader and cherrished carrying the load. Who became a whorkhorse and for giving us some laughs when we needed it most and needed to not take things so seriously. For carrying the load and carrying this team to 5 strait wins.

To Mark Brunell who in the face of criticism silenced his critics with the deep ball and always bounced back in the face of adversity. For playing smart football and not forcing a bad pass into coverage.

To Gregg Williams for putting the D back in D.C. And making us great despite losing some talent. For getting himself in check when needed be and fixing the wholes in the run defense. For being innovative, accessable to the fans and media, a great interview, and adjusting to his players. For making a commitment to the Redskins when so many other teams also covet his services. For being with us...

To Shawn Springs for fighting through injury and still shutting down recievers.

To Sean Taylor for delivering bone crunching hits and making opposing recievers fear the middle of the field.

To Lemar Marshell who showed he belongs a starter in this league. For stepping in when called upon and being a productuve middle linebacker and for a pass deflection to interception to himself that turned the tide in the philadelphia game and on our way to the playoffs.

To Ryan Clark who was our silver lining in the midst of darkness. For providing a spark when we lost, and for sealing our first win over the Eagles with a game saving interception.

To Cornelious Griffen who plays his heart out each and every single down, doing the dirty work regardless of recognition and getting in running backs and quarterbacks faces all year long. For being a all pro that should have been in the pro bowl but wasn't and handling it on the field by showing every one what they're missing out on.

To Phillip Daniels and Joe Salavea who came through when we needed them the most. Daniels with his sacks in key game and key moments and Joe keeping his composure against Jon Runyen so he could come back later and seal the game with a forced fumble.

To Marcus Washington who is a beast and a great leader.

To Lavar Arrington who is a great friend to his team mates like Washington and a stand up guy to his fans and teammates.

To Antonio Brown who never gave up and kept on working and came through when we needed him and capitalized his oppurtunity against the cardinals. For working hard at handling the football and keeping on practicing carrying the football.

To Nick Novak for being someone we could call upon when we needed a kicker.

To Dan Snyder for never giving up and giving us the greatest gift as Redskins football fans we can ever recieve. What once seemed like a pipe dream, he has made a reality. 3 years ago if you had said Joe Gibbs was going to come back and Coach the Redskins again people would have called you a liar and said you were a crazy dreamer. But Dan Snyder persued Coach Gibbs opened up his check book and made it a reality. For sticking it to all the sports "insiders" who said Gregg Williams was going to leave us this year for a head coaching job by giving Gregg Williams an extention with nice pay. For doing what Joe and Gregg need and giving them what they want. For being a class act in the community and donating to those less fortunate. For being an all around good guy and true Redskin who cares.

To Jack Kent Cooke who's spirit is always with us.

To the Redskins who give us something to cheer for each week.

And to GOD who has always rewarded faith and has blessed us with each moment and allowed us to see this day in good health when we can cheer our Redskins on.

We thank you, we appreciate you, and we love you.

Please feel free to add to this. It is our chance to show aprreciation...

And to the Redskins faithful who never quit on their team and rocked the house at Fed Ex Field causing opposing offenses countless false start penalties wich in turn led to wins. And to those on this board for giving us a refuge when the football world turns against us. And for good discussions and entertaining comments to keep life enjoyable.

And to the makers of the "Fun With Eli's Drunk Picture" thread for giving me the most laughs and creative inspiration combined with technicle education I've had in years.

I thank you.

I thank you all, my friends. Now let us enjoy the rest of our POST season (how good it fealt to say that! :D) starting with paying back the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for that 1999 playoff game and that non-2pt conversion 2 point conversion they got. It's playoff week, my friends let's enjoy it.

To Derrick Dockery who was smart and alert enough to recover a fumble 10 yards down the field and save a scoring drive against the Eagles.

To Renaldo Wynn with Randy Thomas who provided us with some amusement and resteraunt reccomendations.

To Patrick Ramsey who handled himself with class and dignity despite being regulated to backing up Mark Brunell, kept on working and getting better, and was a good friend, teamate, a nice stand up guy.

To Pat Gibbs who supported Joe in his decision to return and puts up with so much that Joe's Head Coaching job demands like the long ours and publicity. For being a very special companion to her husband, and is very special to all us fans who love Joe Gibbs.

To JD Gibbs who took control of the Nascar teams, allowing Joe to to come back to us, and not missing a step by with the racing team by winning in a Championship with Joe Away.

To Koy Gibbs who was a good motavation for our Coach to bring the Gibbs family back to the Redskins family. You all are and will forever be our family.

Again to Gregg Williams for sacrificing a head coaching position to stay with the Redskins family providing stability and together bringing us one step closer to a championship.

To all the role players like Rock Cartright, LaDell Betts, James Thrash, and all the special teamers who do their part and don't ask for alot of reccognition and get the job done, making life better for their TEAM mates and making the Redskins a complete TEAM...

To every single Redskin and Redskins fan who gave their all from day 1 to get to this point...

Thank you.
