Game of the week

Giants (10-4) at Redskins (8-6)

This is one of those second meetings of the season where the victor in the first meeting probably wishes that game had been a little closer. But the Giants completely dismantled Washington on Oct. 30, to the tune of 36-0, pinning the first shutout on Joe Gibbs in his first 207 regular season games. In that first meeting the Giants defense was merciless, sacking Mark Brunell five times and holding him to 65 yards passing on 28 attempts. The G-Men also held Clinton Portis to nine yards rushing and 22 total yards. The Redskins' defense, meanwhile, got trampled to the tune of 206 yards rushing by Tiki Barber, a total Barber eclipsed last week with 220 against Kansas City. But that was a different Washington team. After losing a heartbreaker in overtime at home to San Diego to fall to 5-6, the Skins have been dominant, winning three straight and holding the opposition to one TD in each game. They may not return the beating New York gave them in Week 8, but the Redskins will collapse the pocket on Eli Manning and squeak out a win

Hope this holds true. Go Get Em Skins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christmas Gifts:

For Eli Manning we have a highlight tape of his brother Peyton with a note saying, "Be more like him."

New York Giants at Washington: Eli Manning has about as much success on the road as a blind salesman with a speech impediment. Redskins 23, Giants 13.
