Candice Rose Martinez was taken into custody around 3:35 a.m. in Centreville, a suburb west of Washington, said Maryann Jennings of the Fairfax County, Virginia, Police Department. Two men also were detained. Jennings said an FBI agent spotted a car sought in connection with the bank robberies, and other law enforcement agencies aided with the arrests. Martinez is suspected of robbing four banks between October 12 and November 4, police said. In three robberies, surveillance cameras captured a woman talking on a cell phone as she presented a box containing a holdup note to tellers.
