terps'n'skins
I haven't seen this talked about in any posts so i decided to make a thread. During the middle of last week Mike Sellers said in the media that they had something new or a suprise in the offense for the Eagles game. Did anyone notice what that new thing was? I was thinking that it was using himself more, I definetely noticed him being in more packages, and touching the ball more.
SkinsNeverDie
It was either him running the ball or Portis lineing up as a reciever.
GOSKN5
It was Portis as a receiver.... first time we have used that formation all year....
jrockster21
It was Portis as a receiver.... first time we have used that formation all year.... More specifically the empty-backfield formation. That and Sellers getting more reps on offense. Cooley played TE with Sellers at HB, that was new as well.
REEGSKINS
i like the fact that the coaches are open to tweeking their scemes. brunell looks very comfortable in the shotgun.
SkinsNeverDie
We seem to always have players open across the middle of the field. Especially Cooley...he's not very fast but he always finds a way to get open.
JimmiJo
It was the four-wideout package with Portis.
PCS
All of the above and more than likely several we didn't or can't pick up, ( surprises can be wrapped ). Keep in mind that it was Sellers who said this and it was Sellers who benefited from a few surprises. One clear reason he was happy about it.
