Giants D

The New York Giants do not have an overwhelming defense. They have glaring holes in the secondary especially at the corner position and have also not done well in stopping the run either. Their overall defense is in the bottom 25 of the league and their pass defense is ranked 31 according to espn.com. Curtis Deloach who is filling in for an injured Will Peterson at the 2nd cornerback position gives the man hes covering too much room which could be huge for Santana Moss to bust open a huge play. For all of those Antonio Pierce haters he is playing pretty well. He has a solid number of tackles and has layed the wood to players on several occasions at big moments. Linebacker Nick Grisen is also playing well along with Perennial probowler Michael Strahan.

I'd say our best chance to win is control the clock with Portis but also pick on Deloach at corner and throw a few downfield on the sideline where they are thin at corner. Their safties play decently so it'd be more effective to loosen up the middle of the field with the run and then take a shot at the endzone.

The Giants defense is terrible.

I don't know how they managed to beat Denver, but they haven't beaten anybody else worth mentioning. They've got a cupcake schedule with nine home games, and the only remaining non-division road game on their schedule worth worrying about is at Seattle.

The NFL has done everything but serve the Giants the division on a silver platter this year, just because Eli Manning + New York City + Wins = Ratings.

The Redskins are a more talented team right now, playing better football. And, no offense, but Tom Coughlin couldn't hold Gibbs jock strap.

This is always a tough road game, but it's very, very winnable for the Redskins.
