keithabbott
Okay, this is confusing to me. Atlanta just signed Christian Morton to their active roster from our practice squad to replace Kevin Mathis. How's that possible? 2ndy, who do you think we'll sign or resign to replace Christian on the practice squad? I'd like to see Wilds hired back personally. J-Rad
Practice squad members can be signed by other teams - they are fair game. That's the danger of putting someone on the practice squad you think has potential. I would like to see another WR - Wilds had his shot. I think we are more than fine at CB but thin at WR. bulldog
practice squad players must be signed to the active roster of their new team. teams are short of corners. you are going to see a lot of 'tryouts' where teams claim CBs and give them some time to show what they can do in practice. same deal with DEs, although a lot of these moves are made later in the season when teams out of contention are looking for talent to develop in the offseason and bring into camp the following year. Gallen5862
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/transactions Espn.com had this on the transactions page. Washington Redskins Named David P. Donovan general counsel; signed defensive back Charles Byrd to the practice squad.

ratbert_rizzo
Wilds is on the Panthers practice squad so we would have to sign him to the active roster to get him now. Maybe when Novak gets cut on Tuesday. Maybe we will just resign Antonio Brown.
