I haven't been able to post here for a week, so I thought I post my thoughts on my (recently created) blog instead of trying to play catch-up. So feel free to read it if you're at all interested in someone else's thoughts on the matter. Either way, it felt better to get my own thoughts down in some fashion. Great post Bac, one mistake I found though. It was the convention center FEMA was not aware of, not the superdome.

I will stop by and fix that. I KNEW there was going to be some rushed mistakes someplace, but I tried to source everything: Too much to do! Hey Chrom, if you ever want to collaborate, let me know. That'll drive some folks nuts. :-)

Not a bad read ,for a lefty

Could use a better breakdown on posse comitatus and the regs relating to disaster relief imo.

I will have to visit again as more facts come out.
