Califan007 The Constipated
Ramsey's "Brilliance In Spurts" stats (only games started): First three games (rookie year): 1-2 51/101 50% 723 yds 7.16 ypa 3 TDs 4 Ints He was on the bench for the next six games before starting again. Then... Eight game stretch (over two seasons): 5-3 141/253 56% 1,852 yds 7.32 ypa 11 TDs 4 Ints Then came a foot injury, a lot of blitzing, and some mediocre play... Six game stretch: 1-5 103/204 50% 923 yds 4.52 ypa 9 TDs 7 Ints Ramsey sat on the bench for the next 12 games before starting again. Then... Two game stretch: 0-2 40/68 59% 300 yds 4.41 ypa 1 TDs 2 Ints Then, suddenly Ramsey improved his play significantly... Five game stretch: 3-2 102/149 68% 1,013 yds 6.80 ypa 7 TDs 4 Ints Since there are a multitude of variables at play behind these stats, make of it what you will... Funbuncher
I agree for the most part with the initial post. However, I think Cooley will put up better numbers than that. He will be integral to the O ala Wycheck in his prime. I actually see the D improving a little barring another injury plagued season. I see STs improving. On O, it does kind of fall to Ramsey and the WRs as I am sold on Buges making this Oline one of the better ones in the NFL this year. Portis is Portis and he will be more allowed to be himself this year, which is good.
