  1. Damn Theo Johnson is a beast! And he can block. Him or Sinnott for TE2????
  2. Probably someone who wants to stat anon. It makes sense...Maye is arguably the best fit for the air raid offense and he has experience running it.
  3. Wait, so him infering that Daniels didn't weigh in at the combine to hide his weight is racist? šŸ˜‚ I can't believe we are at this point.
  4. ROFL that is hilarious if true. Daniels has a ton of talent, but I want my quarterback to be available, not on the IR. We went thru this with RG3 already.
  5. Maye (and CWā€™s) with Michigan or LSUā€™s weapons would have absolutely dominated. Daniels and JJ are a lot closer to me than Daniels and the two top QBs. McCarthy has everything Iā€™m looking for in a QB prospect.
  6. I think bringing in Cousins while seasoning a young guy behind him is extremely smart. I'm not a huge fan of Cousins, never have been, but I've always been a fan of young quarterbacks sitting for a year or two. I know it's not ala mode anymore, but to me it's the best way to develop a QB.
  7. I know you really want this to change what I said, but it doesn't (especially having a 1500 yard running back...that has nothing to do with anything). If Maye (or Caleb for that matter) was throwing to two top 20 receiver, one being a potential top 5 pick, he'd be winning the Heisman. And you mentioning Tez Walker...wack AF and pathetic. That guy is washed, and is a fourth rounder at best.
  8. Stuff like this doesnā€™t matter to me. Itā€™s nice and all that people around the league like him, but that has nothing to do whether heā€™s a good coach or not. Iā€™m not particular impressed with his resume and career thus far, and I feel as though they made a ā€œpersonalityā€ hire. Hope Iā€™m wrong, but I donā€™t think Quinn will get far in DC.
  9. Quinn is in the RR and McCarthy mold of coaches. They may get you to the playoffs, but their going to be outcoached by the newer, younger, brighter football minds. And then they will fizzle away until they get fired. The only hope is that Quinn brings in a really strong, innovative OC that can develop a young QB.
  10. Nothing you posted disproves what I said. "He didn't show a propensity to make tight window throws in college and he rarely threw down the middle unless it was his first read or wide open." I watched the games...if he threw down the middle, the receiver was wide open or it was a slant where that was his first read. I noticed you ignored my comment about the receiver being wide open in the video above, and Daniels just tucking and running down the middle of field, where he'll get killed in the pros.
  11. Daniels absolutely did not need to run on that first play that was highlighted. Lacy (#2) was wide open down the middle of the field, and Daniels got impatient and ran. I don't agree with McCoy's assessment that nothing was there when Lacy was CLEARLY open. This is ultimately why I don't think highly of Daniels as an option at #2. He didn't show a propensity to make tight window throws in college and he rarely threw down the middle unless it was his first read or wide open. And after watching this years uber physical playoff games, I don't think he makes it past the first quarter if he thinks running down the middle of the field is a good idea or his first instinct. He will get murdered.
  12. That doesn't mean much to me. Daniels, Nix, and Penix were throwing to legitimate NFL-calibre receivers. Williams and Maye were not. You put Daniels and Nix on UNC and USC respectively, and this list flip flops.
