  1. Farve's always been the best comparison. Gunslingers can be fun to watch but also hard at times. They have special arm talent that sometimes gets them in trouble because they believe they can make any throw. Gotta let them keep firing though even after a misfire or 2. I still like watching them play the game.
  2. I thought Carson would be great in this offense but wow it's a better fit than I even imagined!
  3. These people are so awful at their jobs yet somehow critique other people at theirs. 🤣
  4. I don't get it either. It's vanilla play calling, there's no game planning, not sure why anyone gets excited about what happens in practice or preseason whether it's good or bad. It's fricking practice FFS!
  5. Yeah it's fake. Lot of fake **** on social media that is believed by the gullible sheeple. Big reason this country is in a shambles right now.
  6. Irsay's a drugged out millionaire born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He's a spoiled petulant child who's always had his way. Couldn't get rid of his whole team so had to scape goat the QB and put it all on him for his own lack of leadership. Hope the colts never win another SB with him at the helm.
  7. And they took tissue from his other knee during the surgery so it shouldn't be a surprise at all. Dudes coming off surgery on both knees, I'll be happy to see him at all this season too.
  8. Hard to put up big numbers when you're being limited. Indy leaned heavily on the run and it put Wentz in bad positions to be successful with the limited attemps he was given. I think he had less then 30 attempts in 6 or 7 of those 8 games and most of those were in 2nd or 3rd and long situations.
  9. It's crazy how everyone wants to credit the QB for wins and losses all the time. I mean the packers have had 2 HOF QB's for 30 years and have 2 SB wins over that time. Dan Marino is one of the greatest QB's of all time and never won a SB. I honestly don't consider Brady the goat but he's got the most SB wins. He'd have less had Seattle ran the damn ball or Atlanta not completely **** the bed too. FB is such a team sport laying the w/l record on one player is asinine!
  10. Dream scenario: 12-5 regular season, win a wild card game and lose in the divisional round Nightmare scenario: 5-12 injury riddled, under achieving disaster Good news we either make a run or Danny boy goes bye bye Bad news we stink and are still stuck with Danny ugh......
  11. What stats are you talking about? Wentz has better stats than any of those guys except completion percentage and yards.
  12. I somewhat understand the contract deal and not wanting to risk injury until that gets done. The others unless they are legit family emergency type are really inexcusable. I mean you are being paid a lot of money, just show up and put the work in FFS!
  13. The problem with these types of break downs are that the guy doing the break down hasn't been in that specific locker room or coached by that specific staff on that specific play. He has no idea what the read progression is on any of those plays. You can guess by what you've been taught or how you would think it should be but it's really just an educated guess. It's easy to find faults when you watch film and see open guys not getting the ball but you really need to know what the progression is supposed to be before you can say definitively whether it was a miss read or bad decision.
  14. I seriously doubt he thinks that but it's pretty obvious to everyone including him that he needs at least an average NFL QB to make the playoffs. Once you're in anything can happen, chip and a chair as they say but I don't think not winning a SB means he's done. We make the playoffs this season you can count on RR and Wentz being back next season.
  15. Philly decided a backup QB was more important than getting a legit starter to help in the second round. Then he got benched and scapegoated for the teams horrible season. He basically forced his way out and it was probably the best for both sides at that point. You don't think a GM is going to trade his QB away with no good option without the owner basically mandating it? Ballard did a marvelous job cleaning up Irsay's **** and they are very lucky Ryan fell in their lap. Irsay had a temper tantrum like a 2 year old.
  16. Ever heard of someone making **** up to support their reasons for doing something? It happens even at the highest levels. Doug Peterson has had nothing but good things to say about him. Not everyone in a locker room gets along, there's 53 guys in there FFS there's bound to be few that don't like you for whatever reason. The same happens in every line of work but you suck it up and do your job!
  17. Wentz final year in philly had way more to do with massive amounts of injuries, a constantly changing oline and piss poor receiving corp than drafting Hurts. He took an absolute beating that season and it took it's toll on him physically and mentally but it had nothing to do with a QB competition with Hurts. He went thru some of the same issues last year with the colts but he gets all the blame from the owner because he wouldn't get vaxed. Irsay never wanted to bring him in in the first place and ragged on him most of the year. Now I'm not saying Carson hasn't had issues with his play, he certainly has and needs to improve at a lot of things but putting the last 2 years all on him is BS. FB is the epitome of a team sport and not one QB can carry a team thru a game. Not even Brady, Rodgers or Wilson!
