I'm starting to warm up to it a little bit. This QB draft class isn't that exciting, no Trevor Lawrence...I'm not sure there's a Tua or an Herbert either. Guess we'll see.
Trevor Lawrence had a very rough rookie season and Tua didn't look great either. Herbert was great but coming out people weren't very high on him either.

Random facts that may or may not mean something in tandem.
1. If there's one thing that Wentz performs exceptionally well at it's throwing the long ball.
2. Chris Olave praises McLaurin for being his mentor from his first day at Ohio State and they text each other regularly to this day.
3. McLaurin desperately needs a partner in crime opposite him with breakaway speed.
4. Olave, who ran a sub 4.4 40 at the combine, is projected to go somewhere around the 10th pick.
5. The Commanders have the 11th pick in the draft.
6. Hmmm...
Does he?

Honestly I feel like Denver was the worst option
now he’s in a division with Mahomes Herbert Carr and I feel like Denver‘s roster lackluster compared to ours
Denver's roster is stacked

Good breakdown of Matt Corral's strengths. You can easily see he maneuvers the pocket better tham any QB in this class and has improv skills like Rodgers and Mahomes (I don't think any other QBs in this class are very good at improvising when the play breaks down or they are in trouble)

It seems all but certain Corral is going to Seattle.
He and DK are friends and played together at Ole Miss. Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin are longtime friends and have repeatedly worked together on different teams. There were reports that the Seahawks liked Corral at the combine and then pictures of Pete, Lane, Matt and Lane's father all together.
Then all of a sudden they trade Wilson reportedly cause they plan to take a QB in this draft.
So our choice might be down to Willis or Pickett and that's IF everyone else passes on them before 11.

2022 Comprehensive Draft Thread

Well not that I think we are picking a QB (maybe in the later rounds) but Chris Simms put out his QB rankings and he is probably the most respected/listened to voice when it comes to drafting QBs:
1. Matt Corral
2. Kenny Pickett
3. Malik Willis
4. Sam Howell
5. Desmond Ridder
He said Corral is #1 with the highest upside and then there is a gap. Also says Howell and Ridder are barely 2nd round talents.
