It’s Cooper DeJean or Kool - Aid for me at 36 if they’re there.

Whilst tackle is the bigger need, our secondary is still a huge need and we’re already into the realm of project tackles, so if we can get our hands on one of those DB’s who let’s face it should’ve been in the first round, that would be a home run for us.

If Kool - Aid or Dejean are there when we next get up will we pull the trigger?

I like the way Drake interviews he seems a genuine and enthusiastic lad!

Always said him Jayden or JJ and I’ll be happy, but I do have an extra soft spot for Maye and if I was making that pick tomorrow it would be him!

Nobody with options is excited to play here.  That's the hard truth about this franchise.  A current player doesn't care if we might finally be a nice place to play, with top notch facilities and a fully resuscitated brand in 5-10 years.  Teammates come and go every year, and we don't have any name brand studs on the entire roster anyway.

 

It's going to take a lot of time and improvement before this place becomes somewhere players want to play.

I honestly can’t remember the last time a prospect was seemingly so vocal about it. I say seemingly because it may be through no fault of his own, he might have alluded to these things once or twice and is being let down by people close to him.

IMO, he should be really excited about playing here, because it’s here or NE and our roster looks in better shape than theirs.

Peters and Quinn will be closer to the situation I trust them to establish the truth behind all the smoke and mirrors 

I’d be excited to have Jayden on board, but personally seen a lot of this kind of reporting, is it a case of no smoke without fire?

In which case I’d lean Drake Maye and we’ll see how much fun Jayden has throwing to those Pats receivers

Oh and I hope whoever we take is at the actual draft in Michigan, feels like years since we’ve had our guy on the stage holding the jersey

Some of the hyperbole around Drake Maye is quite honestly laughable, he’s a fantastic prospect, perfect? No. But no one ever is coming out, they’re just that, prospects. 
 

Peters and Quinn need to draft the man they feel has the highest ceiling and ensure he’s given every resource, platform and encouragement to reach his potential.

I think it is becoming clearer that it’s JD, Schefter and Breer reports aside listening to the Keim

interview with DQ, Quinn places value in a player that has vast experience and that played in the SEC, between that and the ‘game changer’ comment on the junks a few weeks back it’s looking clearer and clearer all the time. It’s gonna be fun!!!

If we pick Daniels, I will still follow the team, but only to post about how right I was over and over and over again in every thread as he falls apart.

Man this is genuinely a sad way to see it, whoever it is at 2 will need the fans patience and support, not this nonsense

It’s a shame really, one of if not the most exciting time to be a Washington fan in modern history and to think folk will be disappointed or angry when one of those names are read out!

Reality is they’ve all got great upside and lots to be excited about, i’m excited about Maye’s arm and big play ability, I’m excited about Daniels wheels and deep threat, I’m excited about JJ evading pressure and making plays in clutch moments. Come draft night I can’t lose and I’d urge some perspective for those who are vividly anti any of the three 

Don’t get why there seems to be a load of fuss on socials etc, what a great problem to have Maye, Daniels or even JJ, it’s an awesome position to be in, no Snyder, no Ron.

I’m just sat back chilling, looking at the upside of all of them and getting excited 😎
