  1. Well then who else did you blame those losses on if not Heinicke. I read your posts. I know exactly what you're about. When the unfortunate time comes that the "backup" has to come in, most teams fans rally around him. Not this bunch though.
  2. I'm sorry, but calling for a rookie over the established backup IS wanting to see him fail. And frankly, you're one of the worst of the lot!! You've been on this kids case since the beginning of last year.
  3. He went into the last 4 games of the season with McLaurin and Gibson being the only weapons on the team. Almost the entire team was decimated by Covid. And you're going to blame the totality of those losses on Heinicke? Damn unfair if you ask me. Especially considering the paltry amount he's being paid.
  4. I've seen a lot of so called fans on this forum who have gone out of their way wanting to see him fail. And that's a damn shame. Here's a kid who leaves everything on the field every game he plays in. Does he have a huge arm like Wentz? Certainly not, but he does a lot of things well that I find valuable in a quarterback, and one of those things is leadership. teammates rally around Taylor Heinicke. I believe you're going to see that this coming Sunday.
  5. The starter is injured and he's the backup. Is he the answer? Probably not, but he's the only answer we got right now. I think he deserves our support IMO.
  6. Hasn't this topic been beaten to death? It's front and center on two different threads. Perhaps it's time to change the subject. The starter is injured, and the backup quarterback is coming in. Seems pretty self explanatory to me anyway.
  7. I can almost guarantee you the saviour is not coming in the 5th round.
  8. The funny thing is with Heinicke at the beginning of last year the bet was whether he could last a single game without getting injured. Then of course the goal posts moved tremendously.
  9. Do you perhaps think, that last years lack of a deep threat, was that our only deep threat receiver, was double and triple teamed on every pass route? I certainly do.
  10. A coach who makes decisions based on what the fans want. Isn't in this league for very long.
  11. The fans have bought into the wait till next year mantra. it's a dangerous place to be. Because in the end, next year never comes.
  12. I value wins over draft picks, and so do winning teams. Draft picks we've had, it's wins we're lacking.
