If your guy can run but isn't a great passer, you end up with Lamar Jackson. Sure, some still think he's great, but he's had extremely mediocre production the last couple of years and has really only had one elite year. He's also now an injury concern and is taking up a ton of cap space.

He hasn't really had a decent WR corps until maybe this year. Absolutely going to be an injury risk simply sure to his style, but I think you're underestimating him as a passer. Greg Roman's offense was mostly run orientated and didn't help his passing stats.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next administration passes on Jamin's 5th year option. I believe it's going to be above his market value. He gets paid between Holcomb and Okereke money if he were a free agent today if I were to guess

Yeah I don't think he gets picked up either. Lots of teams passed on their linebacker draft picks' options this off-season, too.

If a team has to choose where to put money, it's typically not DBs.  After we pay Young, Sweat, and Davis we will be broke on defense.  The first round pick should have been a tight end.  But that's just how I feel and hopefully I'm wrong.

I'm surprised you think we're signing all three of them. I would've liked a TE, too. But I think we're all going to like the guy we got. Even you.

Any combination of players is better than what we drafted.  Literally any.  A computer AI system would have drafted better than Ron.

I realize the top o-line were gone by 16. But we could have picked a 10 year franchise TE in Kincaid or Mayer.  Unsteady we took 2 small defense backs who will probably get beat up and won't sign here long term.  Bad draft Ron.

We really screwed up not taking Kincaid.  He will be the next Kelce and our picks probably won't even sign past their rookie contracts.  I will never understand Ron's thought process this draft.

Lol I'm curious how you can predict something like this

Queen was hilariously bad for a couple years but then had a Jamin Davis like turn around last year and was actually pretty good. The problem is the Ravens already declined his 5th year option, so you’re essentially trading for 1 year of him. That’s worth maybe a 5th rounder, but I’m not sure I’d go any higher than that.

I think the biggest reason Queen had a resurgence last season was because he was playing alongside Roquan.

Does anyone look at what we have at OL, and then look at what the teams in our division have on their DL, and not panic?

I think we light, and low on talent. Offensively, we have been bad, and it all starts up front.

I guess we'll be ok defensively, and be 30th in points, and wonder why we missed the playoffs again, and finished last in the division......again.

They're on the Caleb Williams plan.

Arizona won the draft hands down.  Getting that 2024 Texans pick is a lotto pick.  It could be #1 overall.

Yup. Perfect time to replace Kyler with Caleb. Sucks, I was hoping to trade back for more ammo to get him next year if Howell doesn't work out.

Bleacher Report put out their immediate draft grades of round one. Most teams got an A or a B. A couple Cs and one D I think. Only one F. That was our pick lol. I have to disagree and say that it most certainly is not an F. I always hate when they do draft grades based on absolutely nothing, but this one is just laughable. At worst it's a C, only because there were other corners available who many people had ranked higher. But this stuff happens every year. Somebody gets picked before guys who are projected to go before him, and sometimes they prove the scouts right. I thought we reached on Terry. Completely wrong. I liked Dotson a lot. I was biased because I'm a Penn State fan, but I remember a lot of people feeling the same way that night as they do right now. I have a good feeling this kid's going to come in and prove a lot of people wrong.

  8. With the 199th pick in the ES GM Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select...

    WARREN MCCLENDON, OL, GEORGIA

The Ravens are excited to bring in a Bulldog offensive lineman to work with new OC Todd Monken, formerly with Georgia. Not sure how this guy slipped this far. I think he can help on the inside as well as RT.

It's this one of those rent by the hour places? They don't typically have free wifi you know....

With the 164th pick of the ES Mock Draft, the Green Bay Packers select
    Owen Pappoe, LB, Auburn
A little undersized for a LB at 6'1" 225 pounds, but the dude is a freaky athlete who runs a 4.39s 40-yard dash giving him true sideline-to-sideline speed.  His athleticism helps him to be an excellent coverage LB.  I'd be curious how well he could play safety, too, given he's got a great athletic build and profile for the position.

Sounds like Kyle Duggar. Could be a great viper/buffalo nickel type player with that athleticism.

This was one of the guys. Not the main one. But one of them.

The Los Angeles Chargers cannot resist how utterly stupid it is to double dip at a position where they already have Austin Ekeler and Jahmyr Gibbs. But they cannot comprehend the travesty that has occurred in this draft.

In fact, they can't stand for it. With Ekeler on the block (no need to pay this dude with my two new shiny RBs), we have opted to follow our best available player model and realize that our RB3 in the ENTIRE DRAFT is still on the board at this late juncture.

We are laughing at all of you.

Over and over and over again.

With the Los Angeles Chargers next pick (who the **** knows what # it is at this point)

    RB, UAB

    DeWayne McBride

I had McBride next on my list. Great pick.

  12. With the 157th pick of the ES GM's Mock Draft, the Baltimore Ravens select

    Dylan Horton, EDGE, TCU

"Horton is a versatile defensive line prospect that has the frame to align in multiple positions along the defensive front and has ideal height and length that gives him a prototypical build for an edge player in the NFL. On film, Horton has showcased many likable traits against the run and pass. Against the run, Horton shows to be very violent in his approach and is willing to collision with offensive linemen to hold the line of scrimmage. Horton is violent at the point of attack, using his hands and showing the ability to consistently shed offensive linemen off of him.

Horton is a high-motor, high-effort player that is willing to put his body in unorthodox situations to make a play. Horton is a plus-level athlete that also has the ability to chase plays down from the backside or track ball carriers down 10-20 yards down the field to make a tackle.

As a pass rusher, Horton appears to have all of the physical tools necessary to be productive at the next level. Horton has a quick first step, which he uses to quickly gain leverage on offensive linemen when he wants to win with a speed rush around the edge to get to the quarterback. Horton also shows that he can use some development in his pass-rush repertoire. There were multiple instances where Hortons initial move didn’t work and he didn’t appear to have a counter move to continue his rush for the duration of the play."  https://thedraftnetwork.com/sr-prospect/dylan-horton-fcf1f77e-1cb7-4792-a4b5-207a43b82014/

Sorry for the delay, everyone! I was fighting to get the yardwork finished before it got dark.

With pick #140 the Cleveland Browns select Keaton Mitchell, RB - ECU.

Browns lost Karen Hunt and D'Ernest Johnson in the off-season and can use a pass catching speedster to join Chubb and Jerome Ford.

I wonder if this kid got a lot of batman or Beetlejuice jokes because of his name?
