    PRESEASON

The first time Sean Taylor touches an NFL field he intercepts 2 passes and runs one back for a TD!!!

    Sean Taylor was a stud!!

    REGULAR SEASON

#1  The Santa Moss "Cowboy Killer" game...I talked soooo much trash to my co-workers the rest of the year.

#2  Pissed that we traded Champ Bailey but it was awesome having Portis go 64 yards on his first carry...that was special.

    OFF-SEASON

#1  Vinny Cerrato bring us an extra Christmas each year during free agency.  I do miss winning off the field each year, especially when we have been horrible on the field.

#2  Bringing back Joe Gibbs...it's still hard to believe Dan pulled that one off.

Also getting a Redskins Starter Jacket for Christmas....if I didn't get another thing for another Christmas I would have been satisfied.

Thinking we should trade Forbes this off season.  I am guessing we only have to give him our 2nd and 3rd round picks for someone to take him off our hands

It should be a possibility for sure.  I would ship him f he doesn't put on some weight and respond well during training camp.  I don't like his intensity and urgency on the field.  I'm super disappointed in Forbes.

The whole roster is lackluster and we continue to miss on first round stars. I don’t even know where to begin and sit on fence between Howell or not

We have to go get a QB.  I like the idea of taking Marvin Harrison Jr. after seeing us getting roasted by AJ Brown and Lamb.  But we have no excuse to pass on a QB.

Build around a QB and just take the best players available.  Our team lacks talent but we need a QB who can help elevate the players we currently have.

Another reason the Sweat trade was so bad. Draft is a lottery.

We had a proven player, and our 2nd round picks have been disastrous. Should've kept and paid the man.

I think it was a smart trade considering the fact that we need a QB.

If we happened to win 1 or 2 games then we would have had to give up a first this year and a 1st next year plus some in order to get the top pick.

We are going to need a QB really bad.

Well damn, that's way higher than I was expecting, but such is the nature of doing mock drafts at this time of year. I was mocking Jack Campbell to us in the 2nd or 3rd around this time last year haha.

    PFN OT Rankings:

    1. Joe Alt, Notre Dame

    2. Olu Fashanu, Penn State

    3. JC Latham, Alabama

    4. Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State

    5. Armarius Mims, Georgia

    6. Jordan Morgan, Arizona

    7. Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

    8. Kingsley Suamataia, BYU

    9. Kiran Amegadjie, Yale

    10. Patrick Paul, Houston

    Conversely, NFL Draft Buzz:

    1. Joe Alt, Notre Dame

    2. Olu Fashanu, Penn State

    3. JC Latham, Alabama

    4. Armarius Mims, Georgia

    5. Graham Barton, Duke

    6. Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State

    7. Troy Fautanu, Washington

    8. Patrick Paul, Houston

    9. Jordan Morgan, Arizona

    10. Javon Foster, Mizzou

    11. Kingsley Suamataia, BYU

    12. Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma

*I know many expect Barton and Fautanu to play Guard in the NFL but they're included here and I went 12 deep to account for that.

    2023 OTs drafted by Round:

Funny how Barton is not on the first list....I think he's the best lineman in the draft.  Barton is a nasty son of a gun and he's a finisher who plays with balance.  I think Fuaga might be the most talented lineman....kids can run, move laterally and has extremely powerful hands.  This is an incredibly deep draft for lineman.  I think we will trade back into round 1 to get Barton or Fautanu if they fall.

Was thinking the same. I had to watch more Nix & Maye than any others and still have doubts about both but I do like the way Nix assumes command of the offense as he did in Oregon. He is someone I believe could win the respect and confidence of a team and lead them. But, you can't suck either :)

I still prefer JJ by a slim margin

    Nix

    Daniels

Ewers (seems the most underrated to me of the bunch by a wide margin)

I don't really like Ewers....his footwork is horrible and he's always throwing off of his back foot.

Daniels is my #1 guy for sure.  Smooth delivery, accurate and as dynamic a runner you will ever see.

Nix to me is a stud.  I really like him.  He reminds me a lot of Sam Howell.

JJ is pretty good too.  He throws high a lot of times.  But he can sling it.

But my guy is Spencer Rattler....if I were to take a flyer on a QB not in the first round I would be all over Rattler or Nix.  Rattler can flat out play

Frankly I am relieved they made the change at QB. Sam is fried. I also think he has been mismanaged. Simply the ratio of runs to passes was mind-boggling to me. But many have already talked about that on this board.  I still maintain it is difficult to know who he could be.  Maybe a sports psychologist could help him. And I am not joking about that.  He has two more years left here with a whole new regime coming in.  Anything can happen.

Totally agree.....I certainly agree we have mismanaged him with this pass happy approach.  I am super impressed with how he handled himself most of the year.  But Sam looks defeated and has taken some hits to his confidence for sure.  I do think he can still excel with a more balanced approach.

It would be dreadful to see him attempt to battle pissed off 49ers and Cowboys teams.  The top pass rush teams in the league who have come off of bad loses....no thank you.  No use of putting Sam in a whole he can't get out of.

Why is it a foregone conclusion that Brissett is going to come in and win games?  He was 4-7 with the Browns who had a much better roster than we have right now.

He might not win the game but you have to give the team the best option to win games.  Why on earth would we continue to run Sam out there and watch him struggle.  No chance we are letting Chase Young come in here and have a field day either.

Jacoby runs the offense more efficiently that Sam.  I guarantee the players are behind this decision as well.

It's a shame that Howell's done here because I'd love to draft Harrison Jr.  Oh well.

The question should be....do we want to enter next year with Sam Howell and Jacoby?

We have not won with Sam and to his credit he's like the 5th youngest QB in the league, but he's being outplayed by Jacoby.  Sam could end up being the next Kirk Cousins, but I don't think we should keep screwing around waiting for him to develop.  We have WR's.....you draft Jayden Daniels and go with the guy who has elite traits.

With Maye from what I saw.

He's a very different QB from the pocket versus escaping the pocket.

From the pocket it looks like he is decisive, scans the field and process what he sees quickly -- works at an NFL level speed as to his release-decisiveness, etc.

Out of structure, while he can move, his footwork comes off clunky and in that context he holds on to the ball too long and he's not the most accurate in that context even though he showcased some highlight plays.

Like Sam he can move in the pocket but also feels like a sack waiting to happen when things breakdown.

I think his 2nd level and third level accuracy in between the numbers is special.  And IMO better than Sam.  Sam IMO is better at throwing outroutes.  They both will have picks because they are willing to take chances and sometimes their decision making isn't hot.

Drake IMO doesn't think out routes well regardless of the level -- 1st, 2nd, 3rd.

His mobility is really good.  The dude can run.  On that front i compare him to Daniel Jones.  That's who he reminds me of as a runner.

He's not the easiest guy to project if you are going purely on the games.  Because the dude isn't like for example Joe Burrow where you are watching pinpoint accuracy and pocket presence.   But at the same time, he looks like a poster child of a franchise QB -- the size, the arm, the mobility -- and if you can coach him up, especially getting his footwork more consistent in particular when off platform. -- he has a high ceiling.

Apples to apples with Jayden Daniels as a thrower IMO

    first level -- advantage Daniels

    2nd level -- advantage Maye

3rd level -- Slight edge to Daniels.  Daniels gets lauded more for it but Maye has the stronger arm and wasn't throwing to studs.

In between the numbers -- Maye

Out routes -- Daniels.  But don't love either on that front

    Tight windows -- Maye

    Arm strength -- Maye

    Release -- tie

    Mobility -- Daniels

Off platform -- Maye.  But both have work to do on that front

Mobility in the pocket -- Daniels

I can see the argument for either one.  Daniels insane mobility makes me lean in his direction but he's the harder guy of the two for me to project as a passer.  But I'd be happy with rolling the dice on either.

I would pass on Maye.....I would much rather take Nix in Round 2 or Rattler in Round 3.  Jayden Daniels is electric and as crazy as it seems, coming out of college he's a more dynamic Lamar Jackson to me.  He's so elusive and extremely fast and he has a smooth delivery when throwing.  I would go Jayden Daniels all day.  I honestly think he is going to be our guy.  He's also not a one year wonder, he was doing the same thing last year as well.

I would draft Daniels and sign Trent Brown and Mekhi Becton in free agency.  Then the possibilities are endless for the remainder of the draft.

I liked Dotson but I definitely preferred Hamilton at the time.  Hamilton has been a stud

We obviously don't value safety anymore....I think after Sean we tried to find similar players and got burned (Ha Ha Clinton Dix / Landon Collins).

We obviously passed on Kyle Hamilton who I wanted us to draft but it wasn't a huge deal.  I was shocked we passed on Derwin James when we got Daron...but that has worked out.  I really thought we had Brian Branch this year but it looks like Martin is going to be a player.

Mayhew and Rivera should be ashamed of the way they put together the OLine.....outside of that, linebacker is pretty weak too, but overall we HAD a really good roster coming into the season.

You gotta go LT in the first.  Fashanu is an absolute stud.  Build the line, still think Howell can be the guy for years to come

I really wish Howell was the answer but Jacoby isn't doing Howell any favors by executing the offense light years ahead of Howell.  But this is the draft to get a QB like last year was the draft to get a TE.  Hard to carry 3 Qb's...but I think we draft a guy and let the rookie compete.  If a rookie QB is BPA then go for it...if not, draft a Spencer Rattler or Bo Nix in the second and hope that we strike gold in this very deep class.

Regardless, we need to take best player available.  Free agency will have options.  I would be looking at Trent Brown and/or Mekhi Becton to fill the void for our Oline.

But this team needs athletes and blue chip players.  Most talented player in the draft is Marvin Harrison....after that it's Caleb Williams.  If I cannot get those two then I would trade back and play the lottery by gathering picks and hoping you hit on a few of them.

Sick!  Disgusting and Ownership needs to be ownership and fire the entire staff, coaching and F.O. now!  The fans have spoken for weeks for this.  Nuff said.

I'm a little sick considering that Ron had to receive a recommendation to fire Jack.  Very disappointed that Ron didn't make that decision on his own.  I would have had a better view of Ron if he made the decision on his own.

It really shows that Ron just isn't connected to the pulse of the team, especially after seeing Jeremy Reeves reaction.

Phillips has misread that statement, it says that Ron made the recommendation to Harris not vice versa

I hope so.....would be extremely disappointing if Ron didn't make that recommendation himself.

RR is a super nice guy and cares for other but HC and NFL F.O. is not his forte.  No hate for him or at him but its time.

Let Ron finish what he started....hopefully Harris is using his time trying to find a young, smart and energetic coach.

Dan Quinn would be my #1 option as coach.  He has shown that he can put together a great staff and if he could bring Al Harris with him then that would be icing on the cake.  Quinn is my #1 guy.

Too late for that, dude has been laying down the entire season.  He has zero fight and “doesn’t care” about his job.

He should have fired Del Rio long ago.  Never going to happen.  It’s almost like this staff has a pact that they are all going down together.

Trust me....someone on this staff is going to make an adjustment when the Fins hang 50+ on us.  This could be a record breaking scoreboard when Tyreek comes to town.  This is about to get uglier.  He does seem defeated and lacks the fight, but he's slowly unraveling.  Just a matter of time before Ron breaks

I totally get that it makes sense for Harris to stay classy and let Ron finish driving this thing into the ground.

I just wonder what message it sends to the guys in the locker room that still have to suit up and play 5 more games in the bitter cold.  I realize they get paid handsomely for it, but it’s a long time to play more meaningless games, risk injury, field more questions about the inevitable firings, etc.

I think it gives Harris an opportunity to see who wants to be here and who doesn't...who wants to be a pro.

The human thing would be to take Ron out of his misery and not let him suffer....but letting him continue in this mess will reveal his character.  You going to fight or lay down?

Ron should fire Del Rio and instead of standing around with arms crossed, he should run the defense and see if he can salvage some sort of cohesion.

But this is no doubt a train wreck.....I honestly think Ron will be forced to make some decisions or take himself out of his own misery.  Josh Harris is cold blooded but seems to be calculated.

This postgame situation is abysmal.  The Ravens postgames are in a bar or on the street, so I guess it could be worse.  But I miss the Comcast ones in the studio.

Oh it's HORRIBLE and very unprofessional.....just horrible.  Why not have this thing set up on a private jet where the guys can sit comfortably and chat.  I very much so miss the Comcast studio as well.  This is just a prime example of how bad this organization is.

  18. EB is going to get his shot to take over this team and I think he gets a chance this year as interim coach.  The offense has not lacked fire and intensity this year.  EB has produced and he's intense and precise.

Magic LOVES winners and EB has won Super Bowls.  Magic LOVES production and execution.  I guarantee EB will get Magic's endorsement.  If EB can prove to bring in a good staff then it is a no-brainer to me.  I would let EB call the offense as usual but having him be the voice of the team could take this team to a new level.

Just a waiting game....EB is our guy.
