So to extrapolate from Nicki's tweet....
How long until "Will Washington trade for Aiyuk?" headlines start making the rounds?

I'd target Mike Williams if he becomes a cap casualty for the Chargers. 1K yard receiving talent, 29 years old coming off an ACL tear, 6' 4" 218 bigger bodied target for the rook opposite Terry.
Plus, we got his former head coach and teammate to put in a good word for him

Meh. Indifferent to Mariota. I doubt they ever anticipate him seeing the field.
Seems like a perfectly cromulent decision.

I thought Slye was mostly fine, and probably had his stats and confidence severely hampered by having to play with Cheeseman all year.
Still, I got no problem with starting fresh and trying to upgrade. I wonder if we'll stick with that replacement long snapper we brought in or get some competition for the spot?

Wonder if the org would have any interest in Frank Reich for OC?

The Houston Texans say hi.
The Houston Texans got way more than 1 lottery ticket for that trade with Watson, and have a way higher baseline roster than Washington. That trade alone netted them half their current offense including Stroud, Dell, Pierce plus like 3 more picks. They also didn't make it past the divisional round

We've had 20+ years of Snyder telling the fanbase every offseason that there's one special guy who's gonna come in and totally transform our franchise, and wipe away all the past ineptitude in one clean, instantaneous swipe.
It doesn't work like that. It didn't work for Mike Shanahan, it didn't work for RG3, it didn't work for Chase Young, it didn't work for culture change Ron Rivera.
It wouldn't have worked for Ben Johnson. It's not gonna work with whoever we take at number 2 this year in the draft.
The fanbase needs to get out of the mindset of swinging for the fences and expecting a lottery ticket to fix everything. Rather than striking out on homeruns, I'm gonna sit back and start being happy with singles and doubles for the next few years.
Dan Quinn isn't perfect but I do still think he's better than what we had. I'll be curious to see who we get for OC, and I expect if nothing else, the bottom half of our roster and special teams to be significantly upgraded over the next 2 seasons.

That sure was a jamboree of multiple unforced errors, reaper. Just about every point you tried to make there was highly flawed, to be kind.
Your comments about there not being a place to complain about tef calls is so obviously ridiculous it casts doubt on your grip of reality in a manner that's commensurate with the average "conspiracy nut", whether you have a genuine propensity for that stuff or not---i haven't read/remembered enough of your posting to know for sure
You weren't called out; nobody was specifically "targeted." And I didn't use the term delete at all. I mentioned maybe moving it to a more applicable forum. And your shot at the board in your opening comment and your final comment was particularly sadass.
It reads to me like you got caught up in your feels and got so defensive you just started flailing. It's an ineffective way to argue a matter with rational objective types. You're coming off as more amygdala than prefrontal cortex.

I've always tried to back up everything I post with articles, video or image documentation or article links. Which is alot more thorough than what can be said for most of the posts on this board.
Not sure why having a place for people to complain about bad calls against the team seems like such a blasphemous topic for some. I genuinely think bad calls going against our team is an interesting topic and worth documenting. Anytime I post here I always get several notifications that people are reading and liking what I am contributing
Also not sure why people think they HAVE to come in here and say anything if its something they arent interested in. Or why a 9,000th iteration of "73-0" carries more inherent value than weekly controversial calls that happen in the games.
You want to delete it, go ahead I can't stop you.

Who cares about the rules as long as Jerry gets to have his primetime special celebration. No chance the NFL let's the Cowboys lose when they're honoring Jimmy Johnson and "America's Team" 🤮

I know it means nothing in the grand scheme of things....
But how is that bucket/turkey leg not a penalty for excessive celebration? I noticed one of Dallas' recievers doing Josh Norman's bow and arrow celebration for no flag either.
