Bull****, I listen to that show everyday, Sheehan wasnt a fan of drafting Haskins. His stance was since we have him, lets give Haskins a fair shot on the field and letting him develop before getting rid of him. He wasnt a "Cheerleader" of Haskins. Once that final covid incident happened with Haskins, and Rivera cut him, Sheehan understood getting rid of him.
And Sheehan said early (when we thought there was still a slight possibility of getting Wilson or Watson) that he DID NOT want Wentz because of all the red flags with Philly & Indy. He didnt want Wentz, but feels we have at least upgraded the position. He also continues to criticize the team for giving up too much in the Wentz trade, because it appears there were no other teams trying to get him from Indy. Sheehan feels that since we have not extended/renegotiated Wentz contract, that the front office is not fully confident that Wentz will be we us past this year. And since we feel that way, we should still draft a QB in the early rounds only if we are totally in love with that QB.
