She looked really nervous in her 1st UFC fight. Her second was better but not exactly spectacular. She put it all together tonight. I hope she can perform at this level going forward and it wasn't a stars aligning type thing. Dana White was just on FS1, looking a bit shell shocked. He said Rousey was taken to the hospital, she has a bit of Robbie Lawler lip going on and needed to get that closed up.

Agreed she doesn't have a great corner. But I don't think she needs Holm level skills to make it a better fight. Holm level skills made Rousey look foolish. If Tate made a real effort to keep it standing I think she could make it a good fight. Might not win but much more competitive than that fight ended up being.

Probably a little bit of both. She did fail on at least one ground scramble that Holm escaped from. And there was an epic bullfighter ole that sent Rousey face first into the fence. But really everytime she tried to close the distance she got punched in the face. Holm picked her apart. It really wasn't close.

It is a gaping hole. If Tate had half a brain she could have done some of the same things in their 2nd fight. She hit Rousey with some clean shots when it was standing. But for some reason she tried to go for takedowns herself instead of trying to keep it standing. Rousey has had nonexistant head movement in all of her fights. She just never fought someone who could exploit it.

Holly being interviewed on FS2 right now. She doesn't look like she was even touched. Does Rousey fire that moron coach who has been telling her that she could win boxing titles now?

She didn't look that good at the weigh in. Might have been a bad cut. She had a lot of drama this camp. Her mom saying she wants to run Edmond over with a car. Travis Browne outing their relationship, which she clearley didn't like. Then the whole Edmond bankruptcy story. Luke Thomas is right though. This wasn't some fluke thing. She got her ass kicked the whole fight. Who knows what kind of shape she has been in for any of her fights? They have all been so short and she has never faced any adversity in any of them. This was the first time things didn't go her way and she looked completely lost.

After the last call Cooley kinda chuckled and said "Sorry Jason" or something like that.

Was just listening to Cooley and Galdi. They did a segment on "How do you want the media to cover the team" based on the Portis comments about the DC media being too negative. 3 of the 5 calls complained about Reid. LOL.

Gotta give Bethe some credit for talking her way into a title fight with all the Horsewoman stuff. That was well thought out and executed and probably the only way she was ever going to get a title shot. Hope she got a nice pay day because I doubt she ever beats anyone in the top 10 at 135. Look at her UFC opponents. A split decision win over Julie Kedzie who has lost 4 straight. Jessamyn Duke, who is 1-3 in the UFC and on the verge of being cut. And Shayna Baszler who was cut and hasn't won a fight since 2012. She really had no buisness being in there with Rousey. The fact that the UFC ranks her at 5 is a complete joke. Bethe will give someone a nice "top 5" win in her next fight. She would be a good fight for Holm if they are looking to groom her for an eventual shot at Rousey. Maybe the winner of McMann vs Nunes. Or even Julianna Pena.

Yeah, I know, I got caught up in the moment. But he did KO the #1 contender. Sure he got taken down a bunch but it didn't matter, he was able to get up and deliver the KO. The guy is legit. Now if Mendes had a full camp maybe it is a different deal. Maybe Edgar takes him down at will and beats him. Certainly people who want to question or doubt him will have plenty of ammo. 2nd round seems early to gas, even with a short camp. I think the body kicks took something out of Mendes.

Hope the fight lasts as long as the walkouts. If Connor losses there might be a soccer hooligan style riot.

It can't possibly live up to the hype and the rest of this card can it? If it does it will be the greatest fight ever.

FIgure around 30 minutes per fight. The Main Event ought to go off around 12:30 or so. Say Midnight just to be safe. If you go for one of the stream sites be sure you have your pop up blocker and ad blocker locked and loaded.

Yeah they can do it for cards with 2 title fights. Not sure how it will fly with a card like some of the ones last year, like something with Mighty Mouse headlining.

Dana White probably looked at all the people who paid $100 for Mayweather - Pacquiao and figured they could get away with it.

So this is the futre of the UFC? Black with white trunks vs white with black trunks? How exciting. The last one I got, 187, was $70. I don't know when they raised them.
