Question for our Oline couch sitters.

I dunno, early in the game, when Taylor was in, It looked like our oline had no juice.  THey seemed almost too relaxed, and often were set already up high,.  Now I don't know if our coaches want different things, or maybe that's a tell that a quick pass is coming, but the drive we got 6 on, they seemed more... gruff and brutal in the trenches.

Yes, something changed between series. Their pass sets were quicker and the were fire stepping off the ball on runs.  They looked good.

Immigrants are animals but this guy who tortures and murders his own people is "very talented".

    WHAT THE ****?!?!?!?!

Read the whole statement about rapists and murderers, not what CNN covered.

And for for what it’s worth, it doesn’t take talent to be a dictator.  Trump did not choose his words wisely.

  3. All in all, very happy with the season.

Kirk showed me a lot, just not 100% sold on him yet.  (I have RG3-itis when it comes to QBs now...THANKS OBAMA!)

Defense was good, definitely have some studs over there yet to bloom.

Lets have a great off season, get healthier and get back at it again next season!

  4.

Yeah DirecTV fans always pretend this never happens.  It's common.

Not common in Seattle area where it never rains hard, or snows hard.

I think I've had signal interruption once in 6 years....it snowed record amounts.  I climbed up and swept it off...good signal again.

DirectTV isn't without its faults, but I like it.

  5. Insurgent

Beatrice Prior must confront her inner demons and continue her fight against a powerful alliance which threatens to tear her society apart with the help from others on her side.

Not bad.  Not a movie I would typically watch, but it did keep my attention for the most part.  (Wifey movie time)  6/10

    Kingsman

A spy organization recruits an unrefined, but promising street kid into the agency's ultra-competitive training program, just as a global threat emerges from a twisted tech genius.

This movie was pretty cool.  Had the gadgets, action sequences and you really pulled for the kid in the movie to succeed.  8/10

  6. its not so much the new fans that bother me, its that particular new fan who thinks they know the sport inside and out after watching Ronda fight for 45 seconds

Hell the damn judges don't know what they're looking at half the time.

It's a complex sport, one that I can hold my own in because I've been watching and training in since 93 (UFC 1).

  7. Yeah, sorry. I'm used to telling people it's MMA, but it isn't. It's a mix, or a hybrid style, founded by some dude in the service who sampled a bunch of different styles while stationed in Vietnam. He called it Tai Chuan Do, which is a pretty terrible name since it's a Chinese name despite a much heavier Japanese and Okinawan influence.

At any rate, you guys are rate. Not really MMA. It's more akin to Shotakan with some Korean (Tang Su Do) style flavoring.

Good save.  I could hear the wolves circling in for the kill LOL.

Shotakan......Sempai would beat me to death almost every day when I was 9.  Good stuff.

  8. You could not pay me to own a newer large SUV.

My buddy has an 07 Escalade.

I've spent more time under that hood than he has on the road.

Absolute biggest pos I've ever worked on.

Fixed something, a fuse blows, replace the fuse, burned out the instrument cluster, rinse repeat.  Started fresh, traced it back to a WINDOW ACTUATOR causing issues with the whole electrical system.

no thanks, but I'll take your 500 to work on it.

  9. So funny story....

The wife always whines about spiders.  "I'm afraid of them".  It irritates me because I'm trying to teach my boys to respect things that will hurt you so that if they come face to face with that thing, then they can act quickly and with a level head.  (Army training, SIR!)

The other night we were sitting watching tv and a spider was descending on to her person from the ceiling.  I look over and see this puzzled look on her face turn to absolute terror and she jumped up screaming SPIDER!.  "MR!   COME KILL IT!"  She ran out of the room and I could hear her hyperventilating in the other room.  Over a 1 cm bug.

Heights spook me, flying scares me, and I realize its a control issue I have.  I've never seen someone react in such a terrified, un-able to control themselves kind of way. Fight or flight kicked in and she was GONE.

I was pissed at first that she would freak out like that.  Now, I kinda get it after re-reading this thread.

I don't understand the fear, but I acknowledge it exists.  Maybe I can help her?  I doubt it.

Until she gets over it (fingers crossed) I will continue to be the spider slayer (I rescue them and put them outside).

  10.

I have a 97 Grand Cherokee, when I turn the car off after driving it there is a lot of liquid noises coming from the engine area. Is this just oil falling back down? I have never heard anything like it before and have had and worked on a lot of my own cars. Could it be related to the cooling system? Air in the coolant?

Air in the coolant system.  It's gurgling.  You'll need to burp the system.

I have no experience with sliding doors.
